A slotted spring pin is a headless hollow cylindrical tube having a longitudinal slot down the entire length with chamfered or round ends to aid installation.Due to the chamfered end, the pins can be inserted easily into the hole with a hammer or using automatic placement. After insertion, the plus tolerance of the pins results in a vibration-proof seating.
